Opportunites to Earn Online

Opportunites to Earn Online

I recently came upon a website that have the opportunity to earn extra money online. One is for signing up for offers while another is a possibility for those who love to blog.

Cash Crate is a place where you can sign up for free and paid offers to earn money. Many offers are for filling out surveys or signing up to be a member of a website. After the advertisers inform Cash Crate- money is entered into your account. Surveys earn you around $0.40-$1.00 each on average. Unfortunately with some surveys you may not be the correct candidate. This can become irritating as you do have to take time and answer some questions. If they feel you aren't right for the survey, you don't get paid for that time. Cash Crate also offers a daily survey that changes every 24 hours. If the survey fits you, you earn $0.80. Some sign ups do cost money and require a credit card but the payout is greater. The average is around $1.00-$14.00 with a fee of around $2.00-$5.00 to sign up.

Unfortunately not every offer you sign up for pays quickly. I've had 5 offers still pending for more then 2 weeks now. I contacted regarding this matter and was only told that if the advertisers didn't inform that you signed up- you wouldn't be able to be paid for them. I have a feeling that I won't be seeing any earnings from those offers. In the past the minimum payout was only $5.00 but now has been changed to $10.00. If you have earned the minimum, you will be paid the next month. They have a referral program that earns you 20% of what you're referrals earn and then 10% of what that person's referrals earn. Currently you are paid via a mailed check. They don't allow members to be paid via paypal anymore. I can happily say I was paid by Cash Crate.

It's free to join and allows others from other countries other than America to join. You simply need a user name, password, your address for payment and need to activate your account. This may be a good way to earn some extra money on the side but be careful you aren't flooded with spam from signing up. I say it's worth taking a few moments to check it out- http://www.cashcrate.com

To Make Money, Know the Money

Written By Father of Three on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 | 9:17 PM

The experts are always telling us that getting paid for what you know is one of the most effective, least time-intensive ways to make a buck. Well, if you know anything about money (and you don’t need to be a financial whiz), writing articles for financial websites can be a very lucrative way to get paid for what you know.

We all understand that demand for your product is essential in any business. Well, how’s this for demand: EVERYONE is interested in money. We want to know how we can earn it, save it, and grow it. After all, isn’t making money your basic motivation for reading this article or subscribing to this newsletter? If you do want to make money, and you have any insight or even anecdotes about things like investing, business, family finances, taxes, or even being flat broke, there is a huge online demand for what you have to say. And surprisingly, you don’t have to be a professional writer to get in the game.

There are many different types of financial businesses that are always looking for articles (yes, even your articles) to use on their websites. Stock brokers need technical articles, as well as articles on how families like yours invest, and what they think about stocks and mutual funds. Even banks, insurance companies, and mutual fund companies are always looking for human interest stories about how money, or the lack thereof, can affect families and individuals just like you, from all walks of life.

You’ve probably heard a dozen times that the best selling product on the Internet is information. Well, for you and your articles, this can clearly be the case. Financial websites are willing to pay you for your articles, because their customers and people visiting the sites are HUNGRY for the information. Providing the information people want makes these firms look good, making people want to do business with them. If you can help their business with your articles, they are often willing to pay you handsomely for your assistance.

In all seasons, and at specific times of year, there are articles needed on issues like retirement planning, education funding, savings, tax filing and brackets, insurance, estate planning, family finances, and more.

But what if you don’t know anything about any of these topics? If you’re willing to do some research and learn a few things, you’ll not only be armed with the knowledge you’ve gained, but you will also be poised to make some great money. Try going to a search engine like Google, and you will find thousands of articles on money, investments, and all types of insurance. Spend some time learning the ropes and your study could pay off big time.

In fact, many websites even hold contests to promote themselves and build a crop of writers. These sites are looking for interesting articles that teach, entertain, and inform on money, finances, investments, and insurance. The major prizes can be worth thousands to the writer, making a few hours of research and time spent writing well worth it. As sites build a list of writers, they will typically increase the number of writing contests they hold, making it easier and easier to get in on the action.

Investing Tips for Beginners

Written By Father of Three on Friday, July 27, 2007 | 11:26 AM

Here are some investing tips for beginners:

1. Invest in what you know.
Choose investments that you know and understand.

Forms of investments:

  • Savings accounts - Probably the safest type of investment. There is low risk involve and the yield is also low. If you availed of it through a bank, your investment is insured by the PDIC upto P250,000.
  • Time deposits - Similar to savings accounts with the exception of you agreeing not to touch your money for a certain period of time. With this, the bank will offer you a higher yield compared to regular savings account.
  • Bonds - Bonds are IOUs from the government or corporations. Initial investments in bonds and risks are higher compared to bank deposits. But the yield potential is also much higher. It may be preferable to invest in Mutual funds or UITFs (pooled resources) which offer lower initial investments.
  • Stocks or Equities - Stocks are traded in the stock market and prices fluctuate everyday. There are mutual funds and UITFs investing in stocks and equities.
  • Money market - Money market refers to short term commercial papers maturing in 1 year or less. There are mutual funds and UITFs with portfolios made up of money market only.
  • Real Estate
  • Art and Jewelry

    2. Don't follow the herd.
Before following what the others are doing, think and assess first the situation. Don't panic. Sometimes panicking can force you to sell at a loss.

    3. Focus on the business, not the stock.
If you invest on the stock market, focus on the business and not on the stock prices. Know the business behind the stock, assess its future and see if it will be profitable. As the stock market prices fluctuate everyday, looking at the prices everyday may cause you to lose your mind.

    4. Think long term.
When investing in stocks, mutual funds, and UITFs, think long term. Be prepared to just leave your money and let it compound. Learn to sit back and relax. Investing long term allows your investments to average out over that period. Averages have the tendency to rise over the years so you need not worry when the market is down because it will tend to average itself in the long run.
